Child's Journal

When I was a little girl, my dad started a diary with me.  In it, I dictated for my dad what we had done that day as he wrote in my diary.  As an adult, I love being able to read what I said as a young child.

I recently purchased a journal from http://www.tinyprints.com/ that I am going to use for my daughter.  She's not old enough to dictate for me, but I plan on writing about the things she says or does so that she can read them as she gets older.

RSVP Potato Ricer

I've used a number of potato mashers and ricers in the past, and this is by far my favorite way to get great mashed (riced) potatoes.  This ricer is so easy to use and clean.  I've used others that take a lot of strength, but this one doesn't take much effort at all.  And for around $15, it's a great price, too.  I make mashed potatoes a lot and would hate to be without it!
